art director / co-founder
Eric Reyes, raised in the wild pastures and grease joints of Waukegan, IL, began drawing and pretending to be a musician at age four. Throughout the trials and tribulations of adolescence, Eric honed his craft and nurtured his love of comics and graphic arts (acne free for the most part). Eventually, he became an actual musician playing in various bands in and around Chicago and even surviving a short-lived and problematic rap career in 11'.
After working on his music and creating comics on his own during college, Eric teamed up with the one and only Javier Suárez and started Low Key Label. A comics and merchandise brand that combined their passion for music culture with comics culture, a brand that represented their personalities and taste in culture and party entrances: Low Key.
